"Law serves its purpose only when it is fair in principle, clear in application, and mindful of its real-world impact."

Jackson Chung Jye Sheng

Pupil-in-Chambers

Jackson Chung Jye Sheng is a Pupil-in-Chambers with a strong background in financial economics, banking, and law, and a genuine commitment to helping SME entrepreneurs and business owners navigate legal matters with clarity, fairness, and confidence.

He holds a first bachelor's degree in Economics (Financial Economics) from University Malaysia Sabah, subsequently built his career over more than 15 years in the banking and financial services industry. Throughout his banking career, Jackson worked closely with business owners on financial management, credit assessment, cash-flow planning, and risk evaluation. Prior to leaving the banking sector to pursue law, he served as a Business Centre Manager, where he led teams, managed commercial portfolios, and supported entrepreneurs in making sound and sustainable business decisions.

Driven by a long-standing personal ambition to practice law, Jackson later obtained his law degree from University of Malaya, with the aim of bridging the gap between legal complexity and real-world business understanding. He believes that the law should not be distant or intimidating, but something clients can clearly understand and meaningfully rely on when making important decisions.

Jackson brings particular value in translating complex legal concepts into practical and accessible language, helping clients understand their position, evaluate options, and manage risk without being overwhelmed by legal jargon. His approach reflects a belief that the law functions as a social contract, and that good legal service must balance fairness, responsibility, and economic reality.

Guided by humility and a strong sense of duty, Jackson seeks to contribute legal solutions that are clear, consistent, and fair, always mindful of their impact on individuals, businesses, and the wider community.
